"Disappointing source on the topic" according to Daniel F. Oreilly. The book seems to suffer from a lack of critical review, with grammatical errors that are far too numerous and extremely annoying. The lack of an index makes it almost useless as a reference book. While there are lots of examples, most are just fragments and the commentary is scant. Better attribution to the original sources might have helped.. Prof Dp Van Merwe said Latest and greatest on XBRL. This book fulfilled a real need which I feel has existed on the market - a real up-to-date book on XBRL, written in easily understandable style and language.The authors obviously have long experience with and a deep interest in the subject which they share with us.I wish I could meet all of them personally for a further chat!
