"Exciting and intriguing book" according to Heather Spergel. I grabbed this book initially due to the intense cover and then solidified my desire to read it just with the title. This psych thriller leads you down a road of love, deception, and murder like not many books can- and in a way that didn't disappoint. I read this book in just a few days (frustratingly interrupted by my own life). This page turner was well written, packed with interesting factual info (oral surgery and jury/court case facts), and the characters felt tangible. I could picture each character as the book progressed and loved how the author c. Murder, lies, seduction and a cliff hanger! Murder, lies, manipulation, seduction, and a cliff hanger to boot! Jake and Mai cannot be together due to family honor. Jake is Jewish and Mai is Eurasian and their parents would not bless the relationship. Between the two of them they engage Jake's best friend and fellow physician, Bret, in a carefully laid plot to be together without his knowledge. Than he needs to be removed from the equation, so that they can be together. It was hard to put down and the characters came to life in the story and were woven together carefully and with thought.. A real page turner! Amazon Customer This book makes you want to keep reading and reading. It's really hard to put it down. The characters have such depth you feel like you are a part of thier world. The author weaves a story that keeps you engrossed and guessing until the end. Extremely well written and love the cover art! I can't wait for the next installment in this series.
