One Thing Right, So Many Things Wrong OK, I gave this one four stars when I could have given it two stars or five stars.What elevated it:1) The overwhelmingly scorching scenes between Stef and Rand. Truly amazing if haphazard and unexpected at times during the narrative.2) The eventual introduction and integration of Rand and Charlotte's mother, May, to the narrative, which came almost too late to change some other impressions I had developed about this and other clans in the book.3) The fact that I was so annoyed most of the time that I actually felt compelled to get to the end to see if it was at all logical and possible.
