Buffalo said Small Business Valuation. Great book; however, it is way too analytical for my purpose. I needed something to enable valuation of a business quickly. Perhaps someone would have a need for this detailed analysis.. wow Not a good guide for buying/valuing a small business. Reads like a college term paper on net present value, annuities, or other revenue streams. Does not give good real world examples of small business.A sample tax return analysis is not even listed!?. Not much on multiples of EBITDA. James F Beahan I was looking for info to back up a valuation using a multiple of EBITDA for a divorce/property settlement. There was no info on this methodology which is widely used in venture capital buyouts. The primary focus was on Net Present Value of multiple year forecasts of cash flow.
