Many beginning street motorcycle riders, as well as more experienced riders than care to admit it, have issues, close-calls, and crashes that they need not have. "The Realm of the Cheetah" is a collection of hints to help the motorcyclist deal with the issues of staying safe while riding, as they reduce their anxiety level and increase their skill and confidence.. During the author's years as a Motorcycle Safety Foundation Rider Coach, he noticed that the same problems kept showing up time and again. When he traced the problem back to it's core, it all came down to the student's level of comfort. All it takes to avoid these issues is training. He also noticed that humor, mixed with a bit of absurdity, was a good way to break the student from their anxiety and redirect their focus
