ALeamaro said Excellent thriller!. Wow! What a great book. I couldn't put it away until I finished though I had to make several breaks when it was getting it to me. Very dark and raw story with difficult passages to read. The story is very well written and you'll have suspense until the end. For me it's the best book of the Rainey series. In this book you also have the story told by the victim and it's not easy to read but during the all story you will experience a roller coaster of emotions. I think I'm going to look over my shoulder for a while! I highly recommend this book but not for those easily impressed because you will have night. Another grand slam by Bradshaw. The pages sizzle with suspense. There's a really, really bad guy out there and everyone knows that only Rainey Bell has the chops to hunt him down. Will Rainey find him fast enough to save his current victim? Who's next? Will his hatred of Rainey escalate his murderous ways to "up close and personal"?.and on top of everything else.there is betrayal. As always, hated for Bradshaw's latest book to end. Grab yourself a glass of sweet tea, a moon pie, and settle in for a great read -- southern style.. A Real Nail Biter Again RE Bradshaw writes a gritty suspense filled thriller. The bad guys don't stand a chance with Rainey Bell in the area. Rainey is the real deal, a genuine kick ass heroine.Ms. Bradshaw has outdone herself with this tale of dark depravity, deception, and shocking revelations. Friends, old and new, help each other and provide suspense and heartache along the way. We are left wanting more. More of Rainey Bell and more from Ms. Bradshaw.
Leaving both professions to write full-time in 2010, Bradshaw is a two-time finalist for the Lambda Literary Award in Mystery, for her novels Rainey Nights and Molly: House on Fire. No matter how Rainey Bell tried to stay out of trouble’s path, it crept in under the doors and through the cracks in the walls. “Welcome to the Rainey season…”. Short of a new name and face, Rainey was pretty sure she was doomed to have trouble as a companion the remainder of her days. “You are suspected in a murder, a body was found in your backyard, and you have a stalker, too?” Trouble finds you, people commented time and again. Rainey smiled. It followed her on the street, peeked in through her windows, posted pictures on the Net, tried to frame her for murder, or make her the murdered v
