Bradley draws you in by giving every character depth (you can tell she's not a fan of Gwenyf. A classic for all time This is probably my favorite version of the classical King Arthur tale. A unique telling from the perspective of the ladies of the Court and a realistic portrayal of the Christian intolerance that overwrought the times. A humanizing look at the effects on those involved in the ruling of a kingdom. Vivian and Morgaine are two of my favorite leading female characters in any of the fictional tales..
