DESCRIPTION:

Worth reading even if you disagree with his reinterpretations from the orignial Greek Patrick Moore LMT Educator Wow, Tolstoy had a remarkably liberal view of the gospels. I don't agree with all his "interpretations." But he claimed to have retranslated the gospels from the original Greek, and to have summarized the four into one book. While you may hate some of his interpretations, we should all read this book. Why should we read bible interpretations we disagree with? Because this gives us a broader perspective for our own faith. Questioning the wisdom passed down by the line of popes is healthy, and as we ponder we come to conclusions that may be truer to Jesus' intentions than what the Popes and Bishops have decided was be. Needs editing. Songplayerman The editing was not good enough for one to recommend it.
