Healthy By Nature said A Decent Telling of the Christmas Story. This is a nice rendition for children of the Biblical account of the birth of Jesus. The illustrations are accurate -- for example, angels are depicted as men, Mary is young, Joseph is older -- and adequate to hold a child's attention. It does, unfortunately, depict the wise men as having come to the stable on the night of Jesus' birth; howe. "not for yound children" according to j.g.r.. So-so illustrations. i won't read this to a young child as it states that the king ordered to have all the children, age 2 and under, killed.
