DESCRIPTION:

"Excellent Work!" according to Robert. This is probably one of the best books I've ever read concerning Atheism and Christianity. Andy does an excellent job at taking well publicized arguments and turning them backwards. He demonstrates a mastery understanding of these topics and keeps a humorous touch. In the end, the reader is guided to the core tenets of these arguments, rather than the frustrating mockery that occurs far too often in the circles of people arguing the existence of God.. "The most engaging apologetics I've seen." according to M. Davis. Having heard Andy Bannister on a couple different podcasts, I just had to get this book. And I was prepared to hear a bit of a sarcastic tone, with sort of a back-atcha kind of attitude. He takes quite a few jabs at Dawkins, almost to the point I wish he would move on to someone else, like Lawrence Krauss or something! Haha! I would be careful about crafting my own arguments in this manner because of the command by Paul to "do this with gentleness and respect". Not that I'm perfect either. At the same time I couldn't help but root Mr. Banniste. Witty, Eloquent and Convicting Drake Johnson I found this work to be an incredible work of contemporary Christian Apologetics. It's a book that I would easily recommend to any friend, whether a fellow believer or a skeptic. A wonderful journey laced with plenty of humor which only someone from the British Isles could conjure.

Recommend this book to high school and campus ministry leaders, pastors, higher education faculty, and Ravi Zacharias fans. Bannister's book, however, is exactly what this sceptical believer needed." --Drew Marshall, radio host . The words bounce across the page. Made me laugh, made me think, made me cry. believer debate I've been to has made me want to gouge out my eyes with a spoon. --CBA Retailers+Resources 2015-07-15"Andy Bannister's book is a breath, a gust, a positive whoosh of fresh air. This is a must-read. A sane Christian! Whatever next?" --Adrian Plass"Every atheist vs

Whether the reader is a Christian who desires to be able to start a conversation with secular friends or simply an agnostic dissatisfied with some of the arguments that pass for serious thought, Andy Bannister shows that when it comes to the most important questions of life, we need to move beyond simplistic sound bites.. Addressing some of the more popular atheist sound bites about the Christian faith, The Atheist Who Didn't Exist clears the space for a deeper and more honest discussion about the big questions of life. In the media, atheism is usually portrayed as scientific and rational versus religion, which is seen as stuffy, outdated, and irrational. Blending humor with serious thought, The Atheist Who Didn't Exist will help readers to think a little deeper about the popular claims of atheism. An entertaining and enlightening poke at atheism by a popular speaker. Our culture now assumes that atheism is the default position indeed, the only position for anyone who wishes to be seen as educated, contemporary, and urbane
