Ages 7-11.. This thrilling story of the Chinook salmon beautifully illustrates nature's circle and the cycle of life
a great children's book about the culture of the Pacific Northwest I found this book in the gift store at the Native Cultural Center in Anchorage, Alaska. I bought some inexpensive story-tellingknives (not sharp)such as the ones native people of Alaska used to draw pictures in the sand as they told their traditional stories. (You can see some original story-telling knives at the museum in Fairbanks.) I asked the native-born cashier. A Customer said Seth at Ashley River El.. I think this book is a great book. My teacher Mrs. Allen read it to me and my class. Swimmer was a fiction and non-fiction book.
