Heck of a page turner! Jeffrey W. McClure I have been reading science fiction for half a century. I read Robert Heinlein and Isaac Asimov in first edition. In all the years that have passed I have never before read a book that I would realistically compare with Heinlein. Now I have. When you pick up this book, physically or digitally, be prepared to be unwilling to put it down until you finish it!Swarm is just sufficiently full of. Stephen said this is a good sci-fi story with a great beginning, read it and perhaps it will suck you in to continue with this series.. The beginning of this book was brilliant, and the storyline is enticing and does make you want to read the rest of the series. I did feel the battle scenes were kind of "Groundhog Day-ish" and felt like fillers to increase the size of what could have been the Best SCI-Fi Novella ever. It's still a good read and warrants picking up the other books in the series.. Refreshing new idea in military sci-fi. Frank P I read one of his trilogies previously and thought ehh, okay I guess. However this book was a very pleasant surprise. The premise is totally new, nothing I've ever seen in military sci-fi, somebody should make this into a movie!
