I judged it by the cover and I am glad that I did I judged it by the cover and I am glad that I did. I really enjoyed this! I love gory, graphic stories and this one completely satiated the need. It was a perfect mix of suspenseful, gripping, and horror filled. It left me wanting more, but I am glad with what I got!I spotted an issue of this at a used book store and decided to pick it up for myself so I could get the full story. I sat down and binge read it and when I was done I was very happy. I don't want to spoil m. Brandon Boller said Very well pace horror story. I really enjoyed this graphic novel. I didn't realize that a comic book could create as much tension as this one so frequently did. There were multiple, memorable scenes that had me "on the edge of my seat". The plot is probably not the pinnacle of horror stories, but it has great pacing, enjoyable character interactions, heart-wrenching moments, and lots of dismemberment. A great read to be sure!. "Fantastic" according to smitty jones. This is a great book. The art is amazing. Great use of colors. It really fits it's time setting well. But to me the real standout it is Snyder's writing. This is a great story about a child discovering the existence of evil. The villain is one of the best that I have seen in this format. I also found the story perfectly plotted.I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a horror graphic novel to read.
