Nuts and Bolts Iowa Chris If you want a textbook with just the facts and the "nuts and bolts" of Algebra I, this is a good choice. There are no pictures or fancy charts, etc. I use this for my granddaughter and sometimes I wish there was a little more detailed explanations. But it seems to be an organized approach and she is learning quickly.
A solutions manual is available separately. These materials gently develop concepts, and the practice of those concepts is extended over a considerable period of time.
