When ET finally arrives How do you understand an alien? Can it even be done? Linn delivers a thoughtful look at how the human race would deal with an impending visit. He looks at individuals, groups and nations, and while I feel he was a little optimistic, his story was well written, his characters were for the most part developed although the aliens remained mostly a mystery. This i. "This book gives one a lot to think about!" according to Cheryl G.. How would humans react to the fact of first contact with aliens? I really enjoyed reading this book and I hope that we would react better than the characters in this story - however, humans being what we are we could very well react exactly as the characters did. If you enjoy thought provoking books than this is one you should read as it gets down to the basic. Red Dot Robert Romberger Overall I thought this story was very good. It was readable and accessible, though a bit slow in places. I found the characters to be believable and entertaining. I would recommend this book for those that would like to have a different take on the ET first contact theme.
