Please disregard the first negative reviewers critique based on the lack of codes and frequencies, since this, although technically true, is irrelevant. Codes and frequencies in a book would be outdated weeks or even days after the publish date of the book. Most scanner hobbyists prefer to get this info from websites that are updated daily or weekly. This book doesn't waste time giving this useless info, but does point you in the right direction to find the current info online.Th. This book does not have a list of Police, Fire and Rescue Codes. When I purchased this book I was searching for one that provides a list of Police, Fire and Rescue codes. This book does not provide any of that, it just talks about the hobby and differences between scanner makes and model. What a waste of money.
