Here is the missing glossary/character description I loved Matthews’ first book, Red Sparrow, and was glad Palace of Treason finally came out to continue the story. I found both books very entertaining. While it is helpful if a reader of PofT has also read Red Sparrow, the author does briefly bring the reader of PofT up to speed. My main regret about both books is the fact that the author does not provide a glossary/character description at the end of the books to help readers &nd. A wonderful espionage thriller knittingmom Palace of Treason by Jason Matthews is a fast-paced, riveting espionage novel centered around Russian agent Dominika Egorova and her CIA handler Nate Nash, it is also the second book filled with these two main characters, the first was Red Sparrow and one I wish I had read prior to Palace of Treason, as I felt I was missing some back story, however not enough to detract me from enjoying this book.
