Read this after reading some bad reviews Avid Reader I started this book hoping it would not be unbeleavable. I read a bad review on it but the good ones out numbered it. Mason is the guy most people had issues with, people saying he was a jerk. Mason turned out to be an alpha male type one who is struggling with his feelings for another man. I loved the book I find there is something about alpha males that is more attractive than any other type of man. Mason struggles with his feelings and the other two are accepting of the type of person he is. I liked the plot of the book too, it actually HAD a plot n. My Cop Friends Night is Darkest, Men in Blue Series Book 1, is the first book I have read by Jayne Rylon. Afterwards I immediately purchased the entire series. Upon learning of her brother's murder, Lacey Daughtry turns to best friends Mason and Tyler. Their blossoming relationship is complicated by their desire not only for Lacey but also for each other. The murder investigation quickly turns into a fight for survival. While this book can be read as a stand-alone, characters in the series are introduced in this first book. I recommend this book as well as the entire. It begins with tragedy. Barbieheart Then best friends become so much more for Lacey, Tyler and Mason. Danger is lurking in this unique, passionate love story. A good start to this series. Author Jayne Rylon doesn't disappoint.
