Great Intro to Massage Modalities This is a great book introducing 21 modalities in massage and bodywork.The editor Elaine Stillerman does a wonderful job in compiling this book. Each chapter is written in a consistent style by experts in their field. Each chapter has an intro, history, definition, techniques, indications & contraindications, certification/training, case history, resources and questions at the end. T. "Hard to read -- Often irrelevent." according to Jamie Call. I bought this book for one of my classes. My teacher said that she had reviewed and it was supposed to be super spectacular. The good: it covers a large range of modalities, it has lots of nice pictures and each section is written by an "expert" in the field. The bad: it's like somebody gave the authors a thesaurus and told them to use as many $10 words as possible. The result? A boo
