There's little information about what you'll need to know for the exams, and the author doesn't even outline the tests you must pass to achieve each rating. Aside from that, this book contains mostly commonsense career advice ("Read technical journals;" "Go to trade shows"). Instead, he provides

While this book provides a decent description of the different certifications and general job functions, it does little to educate the reader about what is actually needed to become certified. As the title suggests (exclamation point and all) this book serves primarily as a gratuitous cheerleader for the joys of joining the Microsoft fold. Use it to explain to your spouse or parents what it is you want to do if you need their support.. "IT REALLY DESERVES ZERO STARS" according to A Customer. The most amazing thing about this book is that it is still offered for sale! It was just extremely weak when published. Now it has the distinction of being extremely weak AND completely outdated.
