DESCRIPTION:
Techniques for solving differential equations are applied to often-encountered problems. Bibliography.. Useful at both the graduate and undergraduate level, this volume recalls basic concepts of calculus and shows how physiological problems can be formulated in terms of differential equations. Prefaces. 74 line illustrations
Good After finishing this book, the reader will have an undergraduate/early graduate level understanding of engineering math in biomedical engineering. Not too dense and not very much previous knowledge is necessary making it a recommended precursor before attempting to handle more in-depth books in bio-mathematics. Fresh graduate students, if you are afraid you'll be lost next year, pick this up over the summer and read it.. "Its more or less fine mathimatics book for BME students" according to A Customer. Its book is interested me as a BME teacher; I found its useful but some time very easy and containing some very DUMMY things such as quadratic equation solution; its best for the firest year BME students with medical background;
