Very good read I read this book with a student who enjoyed it thoroughly. He was attentive throughout. The plot was exciting and it always kept you wanting more. It had a little bit of everything-action, adventure, suspense, and a trickle of love but not too much to make it mushy. Awesomeness Rangerkern This is an awesome start of the series. I like how the main characters get together. I wonder what is going to happen next. that means that I will be reading the next book.. kathryn said Interesting. It has very neat premise. The book was good, but it was too short, in my opinion. Ended on a cliff-hanger. Maybe some people like that.

Comparisons with Rick Riordan’s novels based on Greek, Roman, and Egyptian mythology are inevitable, but this series aims at a somewhat younger audience and features characters who are, at least so far, considerably more human than godlike and more anxious than cocky. After consulting the Norns and the Valkyries, they search for the other young god counterparts as well as magical weapons. The first volume in the Blackwell Pages series will please many fans of mythology-based adventures. --
