Jonathan said Good place to jump off. This book was good, not as good as the Morrison or Waid runs but Kelly is not bad. The Obsidian Age is a strong story. I would say this is a good time to jump off the book. Read this volume and stop. Volume 7 is weaker than this one, and if you are like me and care about how the books on your shelf, the next one messes up the pattern with its binding. The binding on the next book features Superman for a second time, after he was already featured . "A return to greatness." according to TheBoB. The series is picking up! After the slightly disappointing last volume, JLA has returned to being fantastic. I won't go to much into the plot for the sake of spoilers, but I will say this series involves a big secret being revealed about one character and a new league forming in a time of crisis. The writing and art were both on point and great. There was one story involving the lasso of truth that was a bit on the mediocre side but it still had .
