Horton's Isaiah Commentary This is a very readable book. Many commentaries do not make an easy read due to the details. This book provides great insight into Isaiah, the background, meaning and relevance. Horton includes the actual Biblical passage in his commenatary so that one does not need a Bible as well. Horton is a Penecosta. "Great Commentary on Isaiah for those who take the Bible seriously" according to Sydney D Galifrey. This commentary is extensive and complete. Not only does it have the entire book in the commentary, it's written by a theologian who takes the Bible seriously. His point in the intro is that believeing Isaiah was written by more than one person puts doubt on the entire scripture and reflects the way you . "Great for a one volume commentary" according to Dr. L. Jacobson. Great for a one volume commentary, with excellent historical backround. Themes section in the back is worth buying the book for to help understand the grand themes in the Book of Isaiah.
