A wealth of practical information This book by Robert Niles is filled with straightforward, practical information for anyone wanting to learn more about online publishing. It's comprehensive, and is written in a clear, informative manner. He has a strong command of his subject, and uses frequent real life examples from his own experience. One of my favorite parts are the exercise sections- short assignments for the reader to complete, giving us opportunities to put the suggestions in action. Just about every question I've ever had about online publishing was answered in this book! The only thing I would have liked to see- and th. Niles writes from years of experience as the creator/author/producer of two highly successful websites, but he also describes his less-successful projects, and explains what he learned through those experiences.A note: although the title references "community" news, he refers to the broader sense of "community" -- as in the community of people interested in theme parks or violin music, not merely a local geographic community.
