afriend said Great story, terrible relationship.. I love the series, the action, and Bree, the main character. But with Nate as her love interest I just can't give this 5 stars. He's pretty horribly abusive toward her, belittles her constantly, is disgustingly disrespectful and dismissive towards a woman who is obviously intelligent and likeable. Everyone seems to like her in factexcept Nate. He can't seem to stand her except to suddenly decide to use her for sex on occasion, which she jumps righ. Another great read! The hits just keep coming literally and figuratively. There's no let up in the action or the zombie hunt. Bree and Nate just do what they do best, fight. Each other, the zombies, other people. If you liked books 1 and 2, don't even pump the brakes. Buy book 3 and just hang on.
