"Booker T Washington" according to Katharine Ramfield. Was predictable and rather boring. I would not recommend it to anyone. He was hopeful and kept reading for awhile but then decided it wasn't worth it.. Good reading Bonnie So far so good! Love to read and love to learn. Interesting life of Booker T. Washington! Try it yourself.. "The Life Story of Booedidntker T. Washington" according to Amazon Customer Lois Louthan. I found this book to be very interesting. It is well written and gives history we weren't given in school.One striking thing, to me, is how little attitudes about self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-reliance among the black community and black-leaders hasn't changed much since voiced by Mr. Washington. It is a shame, because blacks with the right attitude, no longer rely on the government, but they rely on themselves and their hard work to better themselves and not make themselves slaves to the government.I highly recommend this book.
