Steve Sanders said seems like the work of a professional fiction writer. This is a first novel, but Orenstein's ability to develop characters and interweave plot and subplots, and to keep everything moving forward coherently and in an interesting way, seems like the work of a professional fiction writer. The humor makes this an enjoyable read -- she has great facility with apt quips and funny turns of phrase.
