Not bad, not great. KHWilliams I am a little disappointed with this book. It is not terrible, but it is not loaded with hands on instruction or technique either. What it is is a bunch of reprints of "tutorials" previously found in the Imagine FX magazine. Sometimes these tutorials refer you to a CD, published with the magazin. "Excellent Source of New Ideas and Techniques" according to John Joyce. This book is not for beginners. It is best suited to those who already have a fair degree of mastery in Adobe Photoshop and want to gain new ideas and techniques from established masters in digital painting, in fantasy, science fiction and even advanced Manga artforms.The book is written in sepa. Well written Bookworm Unlike a lot of other tutorial books, this one is a compilation of past ImagineFX tutorials from their magazines. Since I don't buy the magazines that often, having them all in one book helped a great deal.All of the tutorials give you a good idea on how each piece was created, and there are ple
