"Bear hibernate, not geese! A young boy gets the fall months mixed up calling them Septober and Octember. So naturally fall happenings get mixed up. Apples turn orange. Pumpkins turn red. Squirrels fly south. This book is sure to make children laugh and I can just hear them screaming "no, bears hibernate, not geese?" The pictures work perfectly with the words in this wonderful fall read aloud book. Recommended for pre-schoolers and up and I want it for my school library.. It was autumn and the leaves had were beginning to turn color and swirl above his head along with the pages of a calendar. Children could be seen up in a hot air balloon catching leaves and raking them into a net. When the apples had turned orange and the pumpkins red, it would soon be time for the old bears to climb into the tree. Fun book for fall Very cute and creative story for fall! My daughter loved making the corrections while laughing.
