Fit for the family bookshelf! Worth the price just for the reading lists at the end of each section. A reasonably complete and fair overview of conservative evangelical thought in each area covered. For contemporary evangelicals who are characteristically allergic to creeds and confessions, this is an excellent starting place. There is an effort t. The authors are both graduates from Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS) and so I expected there to be a solid evangelical emphasis with a dispensational leaning.
