Differentiation for both learning style and achievement level I have taught both middle and high school. Differentiation seems to fall into two categories; learning style and achievement level. The topic of menus is frequently discussed but this is the first "how to" or book with examples I have seen. All can be tailored for any grade. Menus let a student choose. If you aren't interested in menus, the book has great ideas for authentic assessment or projects. If yo. math teacher said I love this book. I have integrated the projects into my lessons both in the 7th and 8th grade. The menu choices are awesome. The projects are varied and there is something for all types of learners. My 7th & 8th graders were very excited to work on their assignments that they had chosen. Presentations were fun for the class and the teacher! We are limited on our computers, so anything like powerpoint and crosswords hav. Great book! Helps differentiate for my higher achieving students. It has lots of ideas for products to show understanding and learning. It also provides all purpose rubrics.
