They try to dress up Max their way, but he decides to dress up as a pirate instead.The flaps are easy for little fingers to flip up. Any Max & Ruby fan should enjoy this story, but I prefer the books with 3-in-1 stories for the same price.. "Great for Max and Ruby fans" according to Mom in Hooville. This book is based on the episode where Louise, Max and Ruby dress up from clothes in Grandma's attic and put on a fashion show. The drawings look like they do in the TV show (unlike the original Rosemary Wells books). There's a flap to lift every page or so. If your child likes the show, the book should be a hit, too.
Young readers will delight in reading this story and lifting the flaps to reveal Max and Ruby dressing up in silly outfits. In the end, brother and sister put on a show for Grandma!
