Concise, easy to use, great for practical engineering Robert H. The purpose of this book is to provide engineering methods to design a thermal cooling system. The methods include equations, charts, tables, and experienced opinions. This book covers in depth the most common cooling methods: passive cooling (natural convection and radiation), forced air cooling and liquid cooling.I think it also covers heat pipes and thermoelectric coolers, although probably not to the same extent (I don't have it in front of me right now. I keep it at the office).I would highly recommend this book for any practicing engineers interested in heat transfer and coolin. "The Best 'Little Book'" according to Mauiboy2000. This was by far the best little, practical book on electronic equipment cooling design solutions using radiation, convection, and liquid cooling for high power microwave cooling systems. This book has proven to be extremely useful having used it on several high power designs in the past.
