Come On, Flutists, Don't Miss Out on This! I am always looking for excellent arrangements that are reasonably challenging but workable, and that appeal to the general public. Stumbled upon this book last fall and took a chance after hearing the arrangements on another website. I give my VERY HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION for this collection of Christmas arrangements. Performed many of them during the Christmas season and have never had so many favorable comments. These arrangements are fun to play and audiences love them. I am waiting for more from this outstanding arranger!. Nice for flute boring for pianists S. Evert I bought this a year ago, and while I still love the flute part. so far I have not found any pianists that like the piano arrangements. I cannot get anyone to accompany me! --and there are usually several I can call upon to help. but not with this book. I recommend Mel Bay Noels for Flute and Piano over this one any day. While the flute part is not so technically challenging-- the songs in it are interesting enough to wow the audience if you play with beauty, and the songs are truly for piano as well as flute. The piano parts are really nicely arranged. My pianists enjoy playing the. I do love it but Tony722 This music is definitely for more advanced players. I had wished it came with a CD so that I could hear what the pieces were supposed to sound like. it doesn't. But I found a place where you can listen to it online at Shawnee Press. So if you're like me then you will appreciate being able to hear it. (and you can check it out to see if it's something you want to buy!)Some of the pieces are a little far from the originals-- and may not be well recognized. If anything they will appreciate the skills.I bought this right after Christmas. I'm hoping to perfect a bunch of them before next
