Jason C Hudson said Five Stars. Es una buena manera de practicar español, porque ya sé el argumento del libro.. Mas o menos The text is classic Roahld Dahl. My two girls love it, and the chapters are parsed to make them perfect bedtime length. The book itself is sturdy, with nice color on the cover and funny illustrations. However, the print is very small for a children's book. It should have more pages with larger print. The translation is good, and always makes sense. My Spanish is Latin American, so it was a bit cumbersome reading all the "os" conjugations of the peninsular Spanish.. "Encourages reading in Spanish" according to Nancy D. Solomon. I bought this for my grandkids who are fluent in English and Spanish. They are in a special bilingual program at their public elementary school. Their teacher encourages them to read in Spanish. I know Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is terrific in English. I figured it would be equally terrific in Spanish. My grandkids liked it. Nuff said. Right?

Dahl's popular story about five lucky children who win a ticket to enor Wonka's mysterious chocolate factory is reproduced in a delightful Spanish rendition that maintains the story's excitement, whimsy, and message. All rights reserved. Despite the peninsular Spanish pronouns and conjugations (e.g., os imaginais, escuchad), young Spanish speakers from the Americas will celebrate Charlie Bucket's Billete Dorado (Golden Ticket) and his trip into an unforgettable world.
