A Customer said Interesting. I have actually met the author of this book, and own other titles written by her. The purpose of Keltic Lore & Druidic Ritual was not as a BOS or "how to", but rather to explain a tradition familiar to the author - what was celebrated, how and when. It is not a book that I would recommend to a beginner or someone who has just started studying Celtic traditions. However, for the experienced practitioner or student, it makes an interesting read. I will always treasure my copy.. "A friend in the West" according to A Customer. This book was not written for people who want things handed to them on a platter. She explains that she wrote all her books in a traditional way,so that when the learner is ready ,she/he will understand.I read this one and all her others every once in a while and I learn and understand new things as I change and grow.I wish all the books on the paths were written in such a manner. Then, the price We pay is definately worth it.a true teaching and teacher!. "Those with ears to hear and eyes to see" according to A Customer. The style is scattered, and it certainly is not like popular 'cookbook' approaches to magic. No, it is not a training manual, or BOS. It is bits of lore and ritual pointing to a pre-Gardnerian tradition. It requires readers to do a bit of work on their own in order to benefit from the information. It is not a book for the novice, as it will appear mostly meaningless and jumbled. Finally a book with information that isn't spoon fed to the reader
