Great Read about a Interesting Man I typically like autobiographies of famous business people. Ted Turner has been a larger than life character for numerous years. The book was fascinating because of the different experiences that Ted went through in his childhood and in his adult years. It is amazing that most of the affluent men could have lost everything if one turn in the company did not work out. Ted is someone who had been against Christianity, but in his book it seems that he takes back some of his comments. The CNN story was amazing and his desire to buy huge ranchers against America was interesting as well. He loves fl. Epic story Not having previously known much about Ted Turner, I didn't have any expecations of how I would receive this book. I was surprised to find myself fascinated with his life journey that he outlines so well. Turner has a unique style of narration that I found quite appealling; insightful and to the point. I appreciated how he reflects on experiences early in his life that have such a profound influence on his later actions and successes. Thanks Ted Turner and Bill Burke for sharing such an iconic american success story.. "Excellent Autobiography of a True Visionary" according to Miami Boy. Ted Turner is a true visionary. His autobiography is informative, entertaining, and inspiring. I am glad that Turner finally decided to put his life story down on paper. It's very interesting to see how he created a business empire from a modest family-owned business. Turner's autobiography shows what you can accomplish with a lot of hard work and creativity. It's rare that you use the adjective "creative" to describe a hard-nosed business executive, but in Turner's case "creative" is a good fit. Get this book. A real page turner and like Ted, it's a winner.
