About the Author Kathy's unconventional path to publication can certainly be described as the "road less traveled." A pioneer for women in law enforcement, she was one of the first female state troopers in Iowa, and she learned two valuable lessons that have served her well in her pursuit of a professional writing career: never give up and never stop laughing. It’s a countdown to a showdown where strange lights in the sky, “signs” on the trees, and horses of a different color are only the beginning of this close encounter of the Calamity Jayne kind. What do you call a fly in a blonde's brain?A space invader.Ace Cub Reporter Tressa "Calamity" Jayne Turner is back in Gra

Love calamity Jayne and all of her shananagins Julia Clark I can't wait for her next book. She is a funny disaster and too much fun. Every character is easy to become invested in.. Disappointed Book Lover I was given an ARC of this book from the publisher.I have loved this series from book one. I was ecstatic when Tressa picked Ranger Rick in the last book.Having said that, I was disappointed in this book. I didn't have any laugh out loud moments like I have had with the other books. Also, I was really hoping for more interaction between Rick and Tressa. It was sadly lacking in this book. The teaser for the next book sounds promising. I would lov
