I bought this product for my piano student who had problems with rhythm. The book is nice, colorful and easy to read, etc. But I was expecting a CD or something to go with it, so that the sounds that were mentioned in the book are audible. Instead, it's just a book, which mentions the sound of raindrops, hammering the nails, clock ticking, etc. Without the actual sound, how does a child learn the "steady" beat? She can imagine all she wants, but if she d. Good book for music teachers and young students, but price is not so good! I bought this book to replace the one our school library discarded before consulting with me (I'm the music teacher), so I knew the book contents. I use this alot in my classroom and believed it needed to be replaced so I personally bought it; just not thrilled about the hefty price tag which I think is a bit out of line for something that has a limited audience.
