I just love this castle!!! A.Bookworm I and my kids are great Harry Potter fans and we just *love* this paper castle! The special thing about this castle is that some of the buildings are designed to be opened (like the Entrance building and the staircase tower) and have a removable roof and they also have a complete interior, even with miniature pieces of furniture (the Gryffindor Common Room and dormitory, the Owlery and the Great Hall)!! This is sooo cute. Hagrid's cabin is also a highlight - small, cute and round, and its roof can be removed and it has all the furniture. Just lovely!
The buildings are in black-and-white and can be coloured in according to individual preferences.. The templates were hand-drawn with a quill and ink from a bottle in a process taking several weeks, which gives them a unique quaint and personal touch which cannot be achieved with computer-assisted design. All buildings can stand alone or be put up as part of the castle complex. This book contains templates for 20 self-contained paper buildings for a Hogwarts castle complex– some of them even have a fully furnished interior and removable roof, like the Gryffindor Common Room and Dormitory, the Great Hall, the Owlery, Hagrid’s cabin and the Staircase and Entrance Hall!
