Another Excellent Novel from Deatri King-Bey! Reader Woman I enjoyed Beauty and the Beast immensely. At its heart the novel is a retelling of the wonderful fairy-tale. However, King-Bey does an excellent job showing how the relationship between Bruce Maxwell and Nefertiti Townes grows, how they learn to heal themselves and each other.
