Great Book I really enjoyed reading this book. Very informative. Lots of details. I wasn't reading this book to build a Baja Bug but to get a better understanding of my stock Bug. The author spends time and goes through each component of the Bug and explains how the stock part is supposed to work then he goes into how to make it stronger/modified for off roading. A little dated, but a great book.. This was a really good book. It might be a little bit old Nivlac S This was a really good book. It might be a little bit old, but it tells you what is important depending on your levels of prep. I was simply preparing my Manx style dune buggy for occasional beach use. It goes through the basic prep to get miles for occasional off road use all the way to an entry level serious racer.
