"Great Read! True Wisdom." according to Amazon Customer. Definitely described my Chippy and gave me so much insight on what is reality for the law enforcement families. Great read before diving into a relationship with someone in law enforcement as well as someone who is already married into the life. The life may or may not be for you and this book helped with my decision. And it is truly a book of wisdom for my interactions with this new relationship with the CHP life and my Chippy.. "Five Stars" according to alfredo. Great book for all LE and military spouses. Better books out there Melody 0827 I did not like this book at all. It basically says the wife must rearrange HER life and attitudes to benefit their cop husband. For example, "we cannot be too independent that we cease to need them because we married rescuers and our guys want to be needed (pg. 55)." How old fashioned and sexist is that? Women want to feel needed too and we like our independence. I think it's worse for a wife to be too dependent on their husbands. It also says that we have to voi
