This book seems like a good idea but in reality isn't very useful for me. I live in the United States and the hikes are not indexed by what state or region they are in. So I can use the index to find hikes in the US, but that's not helpful when I'm looking for hikes in New Mexico. It would work fine for smaller countries and for browsing, but for any large countries it's just not indexed well enough to find what you need.
